Doctoral Tutorial in Accounting Wed-Thu 28.-29.5.2008 in Vaasa
The nation-wide doctoral tutorial in accounting in the academic year 2007-2008 will this time take place at the Department of Accounting and Finance at the University of Vaasa during Wed-Thu 28.-29.5.2008.
The doctoral tutorial has traditionally given the students an opportunity to present their research for evaluation by experienced tutors nation-wide from Finland. It also gives a good opportunity for the students for networking with the fellow students and to meet professors from the other universities in Finland.
The main language of the tutorial is Finnish except for the doctoral students' papers which all should be in English. However, if and when appropriate entirely English speaking sessions will be arranged.
The tutorial's web pages including the registration, the program, the participants, and generic information are in Finnish. Please ask a Finnish speaking friend or a colleague for translation help in using them. They only appear in Finnish, the current page being the only one about the tutorial in English.
Mon-Tue 26.-27.5.2008 there is an opportunity to participate in the "Managing Doctoral Research" intensive course open for all doctoral students. There is a separate registration for the course through the main web page of the course.
