Supplementary studies (0-60 ECTS)
Supplementary studies are obligatory for students holding a Finnish polytechnic degree and recommendable for others.
Maximum of 60 ECTS credits of supplementary studies are required from students holding B.Sc. degree from a Finnish polytechnic (or B.Sc. degree from a Finnish University of Applied Sciences). Supplementary studies will be agreed in the Personal Study Plan (PSP).

Optional Studies (34 ECTS)
The students can choose from variety of Master´s level studies to complete their degree. The students may also choose some courses that are not master´s level, such as languages, mathematics etc. Note that 34 ECTS can consist either from studies in one subject OR several subjects according to you own interests.
Students who have completed their Bachelor´s degree in the field of business may include optional studies on any field to their degree. Students who have completed their studies in the field of technology (other than business) must include studies in the field of business to their master´s degree to be eligible for M.Sc (Econ.&Business Adm) degree. The amount of business studies will be agreed in the study plan (PSP).
In case you want to take courses in Industrial Management, you have at least the following courses available to choose from:
- TUTA3100 Knowledge Management 5 ECTS (last time in Autumn 2011)
- TUTA3170 Corporate Responsibility in Africa/Asia 5 ECTS (last time in Autumn 2011)
- TUTA3950 Industrial Internship 1-5 ECTS

- Or other advanced level courses.
